18/21hp loco 183429 emerging from one of the adits with a loaded train of tubs. Note the Smith's excavator in the background.
30DL w/n 224315 hauling a load of tubs from the mine by means of cable or chain. This loco was later used here on the emergency/ ambulance train, painted red. 
One of the four 75hp LHU locomotives that were employed here. one of these locos is preserved at the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Railway in Kent.
