ENGINES

2VSH engine as fitted to 20DL and LAT locomotives. The engine pictured was for use in a flameproofed loco as used in coal mines and is fitted with a flametrap on the air intake.

A 3VRO engine as fitted to 33/40hp locos.

4VRO engine as fitted to early 44/48hp locos. Later VRO engines of both 3 and 4 cylinder configuration had redesigned cylinder heads.

4VRH engine as fitted to 48DL locos. The crankcase of these engines was based on the VRO but the new engine had alloy pistons in place of the VRO's cast iron ones.
